Cytooxien at Gamescom

Gamescom brings together gaming fans from all over the world. For over a decade, we have been visiting the convention every year to catch up with our team and partners. This year, however, we are taking things to the next level: Together with our partner Aternos, we have organized a massive booth. Come by to meet the community, hang out with our team, and enjoy the convention together with your friends. But that is not all: We also brought something for you to play, and you can win some awesome prizes!

MC Party Gamescom Edition

At our booth, you will have the unique chance to compete against other players in a specially crafted Event Edition of our popular MC Party minigame. You won't be playing alone, instead you will fight alongside your squad in thrilling 6v6 matches for victory. Unlike what you might be used to, each round consists of a single minigame lasting about 5 minutes. Which game you play is completely random, with four custom-designed minigames built exclusively for the event.

Dragon Escape

What would MC Party be without Dragon Escape? Just like in the regular minigame, your parkour skills are put to the test. Together with your team, you will race through a randomly generated obstacle course across various biomes to outrun the dragon. Unlike standard Dragon Escape, you compete as a team. As soon as the dragon catches a teammate, it speeds up. The earlier your teammates get eliminated, the harder it gets for the survivors to secure victory. Will you manage to escape the dragon?

Dungeon Dash

In Dungeon Dash, you and your team fight your way through a randomly generated dungeon, gathering as much gold as possible within 5 minutes. In every room, you must complete a challenge to unlock the door to the next area. Speed is twice as rewarding here: not only does the team with the most gold and cleared rooms win, but you also earn bonus gold for clearing rooms under a specific time limit.

Paintball

Anyone remember this long-lost minigame? It is back! We have completely revamped the gameplay: your objective is to cover as much territory as possible in your team's color. The team that covers the largest area by the end of the 5 minutes wins the match. Expect exciting gameplay elements like power-ups and an ultimate ability that charges up as you hit and eliminate opponents. Activating your ultimate lets you claim a massive amount of territory in seconds.

Harvest Hustle

In Harvest Hustle, you work with your team to collect resources and feed your 3 production machines to craft as many items as possible within 5 minutes. Materials are scattered across the map, and you can only gather resources that can actually be processed by the machines. Memorize your surroundings, plan strategically, and prioritize the materials you need right now. Since machines take time to produce goods, every second counts!

Sign Up & Collect Coins

You can earn coins in every single match! To play a round, simply line up at our terminal to receive your player card. With this card, you can join the virtual queue. It also acts as your personal profile for collecting coins and can be fully customized. Just use one of our on-site terminals or tap the card against your smartphone.

Customization

To jump in, pick a username. This name will be displayed in-game and shown on the big screen. You can also customize your character's look using our dedicated skin editor (no, using your own Minecraft skin is unfortunately not supported).

Joining the Queue

Once your profile is set up, join the queue and check your estimated turn time. When your match is about to begin, just head over to the booth on time and take a seat at one of the gaming stations.

Team Up with Friends

Want to play on the same team as your friends? Easy! Simply share a party code with them and you can enter the matchmaking queue together.

Along with a variety of items from Aternos and our other partners, we have prepared exclusive rewards that you can redeem using the coins you earned.
